Leeds band Soul Circus are releasing a double A side Burn the Map and The Consequence of Youth on the 14th May. After supporting the likes of Miles Kane and Various Cruelties and festival appearences at Leeds/Reading and Isle of Wight, Soul Circus have gathered a large fan base.
Burn the Map, produced by Whiskas (formerly of Forward Russia) and The Consequence of Youth recorded with Mark Ellis (The Subways, The View) showcase Soul Circus’ quintessential brand of British Indie. Lead singer Lloyd Bradley’s vocals harbour an old soul, making Burn the Map in particular, sound like The Smiths but with The Killers-esque chorus breakouts.
Soul Circus are always keen to think of innovative ways to release their music and the artwork for their debut single The Myth, which came out last year, was split over 100 unique CD sleeves which formed the full image when placed together. The Burn The Map/The Consequence Of Youth double A side, will come as two CDs so fans can pass on one cd to a friend and continuing the double theme, each package will come with a Double Dip for the sweet-toothed music fan!
Soul Circus will be releasing an EP in September, check them out below:-
